Who leads The Squadron’s workshops?
Our workshops are led by military and professional pilots who specialize in leadership and performance coaching. Before your session, you’ll meet your facilitator so we can understand your team, goals, and any dynamics you want us to keep an eye on. During the workshop, your pilot and our instructors stay with the group the entire time to guide, support, and give every participant personal attention.
Who are The Squadron’s workshops for?
Our workshops are a great fit for teams who want to grow, level up their leadership, and strengthen how they operate together. We work with leadership teams, managers, high-potential groups, early-career talent, and high-performing teams like sales and operations. If your goal is learning and skill-building, not just a fun offsite - then you’re in the right place.
Will it also be a fun experience?
Absolutely. One of the best parts of our work is seeing participants light up, from stepping into a flight suit to sitting in a real fighter-jet cockpit and pushing the throttle forward for the first time.
Fun is a big part of the experience, but it’s never just entertainment. We use excitement and immersion to open people up, lower defenses, and make the learning stick. So yes, you’ll have a lot of fun and walk away with meaningful insights you can apply at work the next day.
What leadership or behavioral skills do your workshops develop?
Our workshops focus on real-world high-stakes leadership behaviors: accelerated learning through debrief, decision-making under pressure, communication and teamwork, planning and executing in dynamic environment and the ability to get back up when things don’t work out as planned. The opportunity at The Squadron is meeting participants with a completely new type of a challenge where adaptability is key and learning can stick.
Do you offer follow-up sessions or continued training?
Yes. All of our workshops are followed-up with post-activity feedback session to support with implementation in the team. Many organizations choose to build a series with us across programs, seniority levels or departments - which helps create a common language and experiences. We offer wider programs with additional customizations and discounts to fit your organization. If you’re looking to create a longer-term development track, we’re happy to design it with you.
How much does it cost?
Pricing varies based on group size, program type, and any customization you need. The easiest next step is a quick call so we can understand what you’re trying to achieve and recommend the right workshop. After that, we’ll send over clear options and pricing.
How many people can participate?
Most workshops work well with groups of 5–50. If your group is larger or has unique needs, we’re always happy to design a format that fits..
Is food & drinks available?
Yes! We offer a variety of food & drinks from our trusted vendors to any type of activity - breakfast, lunch, easy snacks, full dinner, bar and alcohol and more. Contact us to receive more details and the current menu options. We always provide complementary coffee and tea station throughout your time at The Squadron.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Absolutely. Our catering partners can accommodate most dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, kosher-style, and more. Just let us know in advance so we can make sure everyone has something they enjoy.
How long do the workshops last?
Workshops range from 3 hours to a full day, depending on the format and group size. We’ll help you choose the right length based on your goals.
Can I get motion sickness or feel bad from the simulator?
Our simulators are completely static and the immersiveness comes visuals only. A small number of people may feel a bit of light dizziness at first, but our instructors know how to adjust things quickly, and most participants feel totally fine.
What happens if someone doesn’t want to fly?
No problem at all. While most participants end up trying the simulator once they see it, flying is always optional. Anyone who prefers not to fly can still fully take part in the workshop through observation, group roles, discussions, and the leadership exercises. They’ll get just as much value from the experience.
Can workshops be customized for my organization?
Yes. All workshops are tailored for organisations, leadership level, team dynamics, skill focus, and desired outcomes. We can adjust the missions, the debriefs, and the learning focus so it’s relevant to the challenges your team is working on right now.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
You can cancel anytime up to 7 business days prior to the event, after which and up to 2 business days prior you’ll be charged a cancellation fee of 50%. Any cancellations done within 2 business days will be fully charged.
Even though we can’t guarantee any future date we will always try to reschedule with you to find a time that works when the situation arises.
Do participants need prior flying or simulator experience?
No prior flying or technical experience is required. All missions are designed for beginners and guided by instructors.
Do you have available space for our off-site beside the activity?
Yes, we have conference rooms and large briefing rooms that can be rented for your personal and private sessions before or after the activity at The Squadron. Contact us for more details.
Some of my team is remote or unable to be here in-person, can they participate online?
Yes. Our hybrid online technology allows your remote team members join the on-site group at every step of the way - from the briefing room, through flying the sim from their personal computers, and back to the debrief with the rest of the class. Ask us for more information about online participation.
Can you do a workshop that is completely online?
Yes. We offer fully online versions of our workshops that focus on the same leadership behaviors, communication, and decision-making. Our unique technology allows opening up our simulators from any personal or company laptop, without any prior technical requirements. Our online workshops are live, interactive, and facilitated by our team - not pre-recorded. Great for remote or global teams.
Is the simulator safe for pregnant women?
Yes. Our simulators don’t move and are completely safe for pregnant participants. If you’d like special accommodations, our team is here to help.
Is there a simulator accessible for guests with disabilities?
Yes. The Squadron offers an accessible F-35 simulator designed to accommodate guests using wheelchairs. Our team will assist with setup and ensure a comfortable and safe experience, so every participant can fully enjoy the mission.
